Past Events

The FMRC Open Day held on 9/4/03 was quite successful as a means of reaching new clients and providing them with information on FMRC and CCC, to enable them to access and utilise all the services available at the Centre. The Open Day was attended by approx 300 people, most of whom are newly-arrived migrants attending English language training, plus groups which meet at FMRC (eg English classes, Samoan Women's group) and new workers from local agencies. Information was presented verbally in English and in major community languages; updated centre pamphlets were distributed on all services which have direct contact with community members.
