Fairfield Migrant Resource Centre is funded by the Department
of Immigration, Multicultural and Indigenous Affairs, to provide
settlement services to newly arrived refugees/humanitarian entrants
and immigrants.
The DIMIA funding represents the hub/core of the FMRC. Through this
funding, staff (4) have identified broader needs among the non English
speaking background (NESB) population in
Fairfield and over the years has been attracting funding from other
sources to address those needs e.g. MARS.
